Speaker host, President-elect Jennifer Van Voorhis, welcomed Raymond Iaia, Esq., of McCabe and Colman. Raymond is a litigator for the firm, specializing is personal injury cases. He was a compelling speaker and led off his talk by telling us the details of the suit against McDonalds by a Canadian woman scalded by their coffee. The example illustrated that we often don’t know all of the details of high-profile cases. He was correct! Mr. Iaia is happy to be a Red Hook resident. His wife owns Half Moon books in Tivoli.
