General Information:
Only the first 125 applications will be accepted, Same day registration is permissible
AS LONG AS SPACE IS AVAILABLE.1. The tournament is open to all kids, regardless of experience, who wish to wrestle. Kids who wrestled high school varsity and have not won more than 20% of their matches and meet all the other requirements are eligible. (signed by the coach.)
2. The age is determined as of January 1, 2008: You must be at least seven years old and not more than fourteen on January 1, 2008.
3. Weigh-ins are from 7:30am - 9am on the day of the tournament. Weight classes are determined at weight-in on the day of the tournament. Weigh-ins stop at 9am or at the discretion of the Tournament Chairman.
4 All participants MUST be full time students. Any participant will only wrestling in one age group and one weight class
5. Officials: Certified high school referees are used.
6. Rules: Folkstyle; double elimination, no riding time.
7. Uniforms: T-shirts, gym shorts or singlets, all must be free from buckles, zippers, etc., Headgear is required.
8 Awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd places will receive medals.
9. You may change in the locker room, Red Hook Rotary or Bard College assume NO responsibility for valuables left in any area.
l 0. Be accurate on your weight. We will create weight classes according to the information on the Entry Form. Every effort is made to keep wrestler's from the same school in different brackets.
11. A menu for breakfast through lunch will be available on site.
12. Please list your wrestling accomplishments, this season only, or if you are a returning champion of last year's event- list on the back of the entry form.
13. IMPORTANT 2008 Wrestling Card .The event is sanctioned by USA WRESTLING, and each wrestler must have a current USA Wrestling Membership Card for 2008 to wrestle. " It is required for participation in this event. You will be required to show your card at registration. NO CARDS WILL BE SOLD ON SITE ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT Cards can only be obtained by registering with USAW on-line through http://www.themat.com/, membership tab, select "become a member" or "renew membership".
14. The entry fee is $18.50. (Participants will each receive a t-shirt and a tournament booklet).

From the New York Thruway-
Take Exit 19 (Kingston) and follow signs to the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge. After crossing over the Bridge, you will be on Rt 199. At the second light, turn left onto Rt 9G going north. Go north on 9G to the second light to the blinking light, make a left , go about a 75 yards, then bear right onto Annandale Road. Follow this Road, pass the Chapel on the left and look for the parking lot on the right. Stevenson Gym is across the street on the north side of the parking lot. Park your car, walk across the street and enter the Gym.
From the Taconic Parkway.
Take the Rt 199 exit, turn west for Red Hook, and Rhinebeck. Follow the signs to Red Hook, staying on Rt 199. Go through the center of Red Hook on Rt 199 until you come to Rt. 9G light. Make a right-north- on to 9G to the next blinking light , make a left, go about a 75 yards, then bear right onto Annandale Road. Follow this road, pass the Chapel on the left and look for the parking lot on the right. Stevenson Gym is across the street on the north side of the parking lot. Park your car, walk across the street and enter the Gym.
